Marry Out of Pity

It is always good to marry somebody out of love but not out of pity. When you love your spouse before you marry him or her, you will enjoy your marriage. But if you marry somebody you don't love, for you to build the love may be somehow difficult because you can only build upon what you have, not what you don't have.

The  mistakes some people are doing now is that they will say i can't marry him/her out of pity. When you know that, why are you going out with him/her? Why did you promise him/her? Why are you collecting money from him/her when you know that you don't love him/her? If you have done these and you are saying you can't marry him/her, you should know that you have disappointed somebody and disappointed God.

Before you could say you don't want to marry him/her out of pity, that means maybe both of you are just friends and there is no agreement that you want to marry each other. If he/she has been helping you one way or the other and later introduce love to you, if you turn it down, i don't think there is anything bad in that. Provide you did not agree to marry him/her before that help. That is the reason why it is not good to start a relationship with gift. If you have not collected anything, it will be easy for you to quit if the need be.

The way people are doing it today is what is bad, especially our ladies. When they have been in relationship with somebody for some years and because they meet another person that has what they need, they will now quit the relationship for the new one. When somebody now advice you not to quit the relationship, your response will be, I don't love him/her so I can't marry him/her out of pity. After he/she has spent all he/she had for you, after you have wasted his/her time, where do you want him/her to start from again? If you are among those people that are doing this, please desist because you will give account of whatever you do on earth. If you are entering a relationship within short period of time and you discover that is not type of man or woman you wish to marry, or you discover that he or she did not possess the qualities you want, please don't waste your time or his or her time. Quit the relationship and pray to God for the right person.
