Here are ways to attract a good guy and keep him:
-
Be affectionate
Most men are attracted to women who show they care about the people,
animals or things around them. They want to be with someone who’s nice
and caring and who can satisfy their need for affection because most of
them are only big babies inside that tough exterior. So, don’t be afraid
to show your feelings; just try not to smother him because, just like
you, he still needs his freedom and that doesn’t mean he doesn’t love
you.
-
Be encouraging
Men are powered by their ego, which is a known fact and a sex trait
they have. You don’t have to constantly compliment men all the time, but
be encouraging. A man likes to know if he gets a promotion at work,
makes a great meal, is having a hard time, or dealing with a life issue,
that he has your encouragement and support. Tell him, leave him a note,
or even send a card. He’ll love you for it!
-
Be authentic
Be yourself. When you meet someone for the first time, you may be
tempted to be someone you’re not, such as “putting on your best face”.
There’s nothing wrong with wanting to make a good impression. However,
it is possible to take this too far and in turn repel men. The same
applies with myths about dressing sexy and excessive flirtation. If you
do not respect your body, you will only attract men who have a similar
lack of respect for you and your body, and a good man will find it more
difficult to take you seriously. Be yourself, and a real man will
respect you.
-
Respect yourself
If you say no, he should stop. If he doesn’t stop, leave. Don’t ever
be uncomfortable saying no. Don’t go against your morals to try to keep a
guy. If you feel this is necessary, then either he’s not a good man, or
he is a good one but simply isn’t a good match for you specifically.
Don’t be uncomfortable saying yes, either.
If you feel the time is right, believe in your worth and don’t worry
that you’re giving yourself away. You respect yourself and you’re
confident that he’ll come back for more! A man who doesn’t respect you
in the morning never properly respected you to begin with, and a man who
doesn’t respect your wishes to wait is too impatient to make a good
partner. Either way, find someone else. There are great guys out there.
Stay connected to your own greatness, and they’ll come flowing your way.
-
Be understanding
I think that every man wants to be with a woman who is understanding
and nice, who’s not nagging him all the time and who’s not trying to
control his life. Also, a man would really love a woman that accepts him
the way he is, that loves him for who he is and who doesn’t try to
change him. I wouldn’t like someone try to change me either; I would
gladly try to improve my behaviour to make somebody happy, but that
would be my choice.
